Valmec Strengthened With Appointment of New Director

Energy and infrastructure services group Valmec Limited (ASX: VMX) is pleased to announce that Mr Peter Iancov has joined the Board as a non-executive director.

Mr Iancov is a highly experienced executive with over 20 years’ expertise gained in the energy infrastructure, mining, commercial construction, contracting and defence sectors.

In his previous executive roles, Mr Iancov has been instrumental in securing and delivering major contracting projects and through his tenure with Alinta Asset Management, was responsible for the management, construction and operation of critical energy infrastructure assets on the Dampier Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline (DBNGP) worth in excess of $4.3 billion.

Mr Iancov’s other directorships include ASC Pty Ltd, Southern Ports Authority and Western Power.
